Tis the Season to be Jolly…….and tipsy with the yummiest cocktails! I was recently in Scottsdale with friends and created this one night. If you have followed this blog you know I love the spicy. So I took the Serrano Simple Syrup from my Hot Kiss Martini and put together this little naughty concoction and it blew my socks off. VERY easy..so make it and get silly!
-Take a cocktail shaker, fill half with ice
-Pour in 3oz of your favorite Vodka ( I like Belvedere)
-Pour in 2oz of Lycée juice (found at most grocery stores)
-Pour in 1oz of Serrano Simple syrup (recipe below)
-Shake the hell out of it and pour into chilled Martini glass
-Garnish with mint.
Serrano Simple Syrup:
Bring 2 1/2cups of water and 3 thinly sliced serrano peppers to a boil, reduce and simmer for 20min. Strain. Pour back in pan and over LOW heat add 1/4 cup sugar at a time until your desired taste. I don’t like it too sweet so I maybe used 1 cup.
